Do you publish everything you can get your hands on in Who’s Who?
No. We publish information that is verifiable and/or authenticated by the submitter. Our goal is to keep the price of the publication as low as possible. We know that we can help more people if we can keep the price of the guide down.
What if we have a really small company, we only own a couple of wells, will we get listed?
It depends. If your company is small but merges into a larger company that is already listed in Who’s Who, we will list the merger (if we are made aware of it via our sources). But, because our mission is to help the largest number of people possible at the lowest possible cost, this means keeping the size of the listings in Who’s Who under control. We don’t try to be all things to all people.
Who can submit information to you for possible inclusion?
Anyone. If you know the history of a company, or would like to submit your company’s history, visit our YOU CAN HELP page and download and submit the document called Tell Us About Your Company.
Why not publish Who’s Who more than once a year?
We have considered doing a mid-year update and may in the future. But, right now, annually seems to be the best combination of new data for the guide and pricing. Pricing is affected by frequency of publication and, again, low cost is one of our primary objectives.
Why isn’t there an on-line version of Who’s Who?
We have looked at a number of on-line options and have found that offering an on-line version (if we did it right) would cause the cost of the printed version to increase. When we proposed this – including the cost – to our focus group, the answer was… "keep it like it is, we love it." The message that we got most is that Who’s Who is small, portable, doesn’t need access to the Internet and costs less than a couple of pizzas – keep it that way. So, that’s our plan – for now anyway.
Will you ever publish a hard-bound version of Who’s Who?
Because the mission of Who’s Who is to help the most people at the lowest possible price, we don’t publish a hard-bound version. Another reason for the format is so that it can be easily stowed in a jacket pocket
Do you accept Advertising?
We have one advertising slot available, which is the front-inside cover. This slot is currently spoken for through 2019.
